En el primer combate se enfrentaba a la veterana Jannet Alegría (Mexico), un combate duro y con mucho desgaste que lo pudo solventar 11-6. In cuartos de final se enfrentó a la egipcia Nour Abdelsalam, que superó con claridad 10-2.

Ya en semifinales tenía que enfrentarse a la actual nº1 del ranking y actual campeona de Europa, Lucija Zaninovic, posiblemente el combate más complicado de la jornada, Brigitte Yagüe pudo puntuar en la cabeza con giro (4 puntos) y mantener la ventaja durante el transcurso del combate, el resultado final fue un ajustado 5-4. In la final se enfrentó a la Hungara Ivett Gonda, que había dejado en el camino por las medallas a fuertes rivales , como son la Koreana Kim Sou-hi o la Francesa Yasmina Asiez.

Carolena hizo un gran papel, colgandose la medalla de ORO y consiguiendo así 40 puntos para el ranking olímpico que son de vital importancia para acercarse un poco más al objetivo de RIO 2016.

Su primer combate lo ganó por diferencia de puntos (12), in semifinales se cruzaba con México a quién también pudo vencer , ya en la final se enfrentaba a la Chilena Yeny Contreras siendo 1-0 el resultado del primer round, 2-0 en el segundo y ya en el 3 round Carolena logro impactar en la cabeza con una bonita acción y lograr un resultado final de 5-1.

Un grandísimo resultado para el Club Élite que no para de ampliar sus triunfos… Queremos agradecer a todos los que confían en nosotros y estas son las recompensas que a uno le hacen trabajar día a día para seguir mejorando.

Merecida y trabajada medalla de Bronce la de Jose Antonio Rosillo en el último Grand Prix celebrado en Astana (Kazakhstan) los días 29, 30 and 31 de Agosto en el que se dieron cita los mejores 32 deportistas del ranking mundial en sus respectivas categorías.

Próximo objetivo para Rosillo, Grand Prix de Manchester a celebrar en el mes de Octubre y que desde el Club Élite le deseamos toda la suerte del mundo para que ese sueño que tanto persigue se vea cumplido en poquito tiempo (Juegos Olímpicos Brasil 2016).

Realizó un gran campeonato enfrentandose a USA en su primer combate, superando a COLOMBIA por 5-2, ya en semifinales se enfrentó a CHILE ganando de forma contuntente por 10-0. Ya en la final se enfrentó a la repsensentante de CUBA con la que perdió por diferencia de puntos.

Ahora se encuentra junto a Juan Antonio Ramos en La Loma (Mexico) preparando el Campeonato Panamericano que se realizará en aguascalientes (Mexico) y se llevará a cabo entre el 11 and 15 de septiembre.

En la final se impuso al campeón olímpico de Beijing 2008 by 17-9 en un gran combate.
